New Delhi: As of right now, about 46 federal universities and 32 state universities have enrolled to use the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2024 for admissions. Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, the chairman of UGC, posted the details on social networking platform X. Along with the central and state universities, 20 deemed-to-be-universities, 98 private universities and six government institutions have also registered.
The list of colleges that will use the undergraduate entrance exam for admission has also been disclosed by the chairman. The list of central and state universities include Aligarh Muslim University, Assam University, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Banaras Hindu University, Central University of Kashmir, Central University of Kerala, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi Technological University, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University among others. A number of private universities have enrolled for the CUET-UG 2024, including Adani University, Amity University, Alliance University, Chandigarh University, Chitkara University, Galgotias University, Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna, and Noida International University.

For the academic year 2024–2025, CUET is held for admission to all undergraduate programs in central, state, and private universities. The exam will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas. The test will take place in 2024 between May 15 and May 31. On March 26, following the end of the registration process, the exam date sheet will be made available.
