New Delhi: Top officials from the Union health ministry and the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences postponed the National Eligibility Entrance Test (Postgraduate) on Monday. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), along with its technical partner Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), conducts the exam for medical students.
According to sources, senior officers from TCS attended the meeting. On Saturday, the government postponed the NEET-PG entrance examination, which was scheduled for June 23, as a "precautionary measure" following recent allegations about the integrity of certain competitive exams.
The Monday meeting aimed to assess the "robustness" of the system for conducting the exam in the coming days. Officials learned that the TCS top brass briefed them about the various aspects of the exam procedure during the meeting.
