The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon announce the NEET PG 2024 counseling schedule on its official website— MCC Registered students can check the complete counseling timeline there once it's uploaded.
NEET PG 2024 Counselling Key Dates
Counselling Registration: Starts on September 20 and ends on September 26. The payment window will close at 3 PM, as per FAIMA.
Choice Filling Window: Opens from September 23 to September 26. Choice locking will take place on September 26 from 4 PM to 11:55 PM.
Seat Allotment: Processing of seat allotments will occur from September 27 to September 29. The result for the first seat allotment will be released on September 30.
Reporting: Candidates can report to their allotted institutions from October 1 to October 8.
NEET PG 2024 Round 2 and Round 3 Counselling
Round 2 Registration: October 14 to October 21
Round 2 Result: October 24, with reporting from October 25 to November 2.
Round 3 Registration: November 7 to November 12
Round 3 Result: November 16
Stray Vacancy Round
Registration: November 28 to December 2
Result: December 5
NEET PG 2024 Examination Overview
This year's NEET PG exam was conducted on Sunday, August 11, in two shifts: from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Out of 1,14,276 registered candidates for the first shift, 1,07,959 attended, with 6,317 students absent. In the second shift, 1,08,177 students appeared, while 6,087 were absent.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the NEET PG result on August 23, available on the official website—[natboard.edu.in](http://natboard.edu.in).
