Notification:
Jammu & Kashmir: The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has announced the start of NEET PG counseling registrations through an official notification.
Candidates from the Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh who have qualified the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024, along with non-domicile candidates of J&K/Ladakh, can now apply for 50% of the UT quota seats. They must also upload the necessary documents to enable the preparation of the Provisional UT Merit List (PUTML) for eligible candidates.
According to the notification, the online registration process has already begun, and the final deadline for submissions is 2nd October 2024, at midnight. Candidates must complete their registration via the official BOPEE website. However, it’s important to note that simply submitting the application form does not guarantee admission. Final admission will be confirmed after the verification of documents by the college or institution authorities when candidates are provisionally selected.
During registration, candidates must upload the following documents:
1. MBBS degree certificate.
2. Registration with the State/UT Medical Council or MCI.
3. Internship Completion Certificate (up to 15-08-2024 for MD/MS/PGD courses).
4. Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K or Ladakh, as applicable.
5. Valid reserved category certificates, if applicable.
6. Difficult Area Certificate (SRO 48 of 2018, dated 30-01-2018), certified by the Director of Health Services.
7. NEET PG Score Card 2024.
8. NMC/MCI clearance certificates for candidates holding MBBS degrees from foreign institutions.
9. Valid EWS certificate.
10. NOC from Government/Competent Authority for in-service candidates pursuing MD/MS/PGD Courses-2024.
11. For candidates from the UT of Ladakh, a compulsory service bond undertaking to serve in Ladakh after completing their degrees.
12. ST certificate for Ladakh candidates, treated as a domicile certificate.
13. The category certificates must remain valid until the last date of registration set by BOPEE.
In-service candidates who qualify for NEET PG 2024 and are under consideration must provide an NOC from the Competent Authority. BOPEE may verify this NOC, and while such candidates can participate in the registration and counseling process provisionally, they must produce the NOC within the stipulated timeline to join their allotted institutions.
It is essential to note that candidates who qualify based on merit but fail to register, or those who register but do not upload the required documents by the deadline, will not be considered for counseling or seat allotment under any circumstances.
