NEET MDS 2024 Counseling: MCC Opens PwD Portal for Certificate Generation by Designated Disability Screening Centers, Details
New Delhi: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has announced through a notice that the PwD portal is now open for the generation of PwD certificates by designated Disability NEET Screening Centers. This update is for all candidates who have registered under the PwD quota in the National Eligibility-Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024 NBE form.
According to the notice, candidates aiming to secure disabled seats through the MCC counseling process must acquire the disability certificate exclusively from designated NEET disability screening centers via online mode. The specified NEET Disability Screening Centers are detailed in the notice provided.
The portal for Round 1 of MDS counseling will be accessible until 5:00 PM on July 5, 2024.
However, candidates are required to visit the designated Disability NEET Screening Centers for physical tests to determine the extent of their disability and to collect the PwD certificate issued online by the center. Only the certificate issued through the MCC portal will be accepted at the time of admission; no other certificates will be considered valid.
Additionally, all candidates, regardless of whether they have qualified for NEET MDS 2024 based on the cut-off percentile or not, can obtain the certificate online from the designated centers.
Furthermore, MCC has released a tentative schedule for online counseling for NEET 50% AIQ and 100% Deemed/Central Universities for MDS courses for the academic year 2024.
