New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has recently added 82 seats to the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) Round 2 counselling seat matrix for 2024.
According to an official notice, these 82 seats became vacant due to resignations. The seats have now been added to the Round 2 seat matrix, enabling candidates to fill options for these vacancies during the ongoing counselling process. The resignation deadline for Round 1 seats was set for 6:00 PM on December 9, 2024.
Additionally, MCC has revised the NEET PG Round 2 counselling schedule. As per the updated timeline, the choice filling and locking facilities for Round 2 have been extended. Candidates can fill choices until 8:00 AM on December 11, 2024. The choice locking feature will remain active from 4:00 PM on December 10 until 8:00 AM on December 11.

In addition to the new seats, MCC has removed five seats from the NEET PG Round 2 counselling matrix. As per the notice, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) informed MCC about the removal of these seats from three institutions:
