The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will close the application window tomorrow for PG medical degree, DNB, and diploma courses. Candidates who qualified for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 and meet the eligibility criteria for PG medical courses should apply now. The deadline for submitting applications is October 5, at 5:30 p.m.
Seats will be allotted to candidates in government medical colleges, government quota seats in private and minority medical colleges, as well as private seats in private and minority medical colleges like KPCF, KRLMPCA, AMPCK, and private universities in Karnataka.
Eligible candidates who scored the required percentile or higher in NEET PG 2024 can register for admission to postgraduate medical courses. However, candidates from outside Karnataka will not receive any seat reservation quota under this admission process.
General category candidates who secured at least the 50th percentile in NEET PG 2024 can apply and register for KEA admissions. SC, ST, and OBC eligibility criteria apply only to candidates from these categories within Karnataka.
Details regarding the registration fee, document verification schedule, and the original documents required for verification will soon be available on the KEA official website.
However, KEA will not grant admission to candidates who fail to meet the eligibility criteria or cannot provide the necessary documents during the verification process. Candidates who successfully register and complete document verification will be eligible for admission to PG medical and dental courses in government and private colleges across Karnataka.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority, overseen by the Governing Council led by the Honorable Minister of Higher Education, was established by the Government of Karnataka in 1994. The authority conducts entrance tests and determines eligibility/merit for admission to various courses, including dental, Indian Systems of Medicine, homeopathy, B-Pharma, and Pharma-D.
