The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, is currently accepting proposals for submission to the Institutional Ethics Committee for Observational Studies for the June 2024 session.
The last date for the submission of proposals to reach the office of the undersigned for consideration of approval by the Institutional Ethics Committee for June 2024 is on or before Monday, May 27, 2024. Proposals submitted before the last date will be taken up for discussion in the IEC Observational Committee meeting scheduled to be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Candidates are required to submit one hard copy of certain documents to the member at the Institute Ethics Committee (IEC) office, Room No. 106, First Floor, Administrative Block, JIPMER. The required documents include:
1. A covering letter.
2. Download the online IEC application.
3. Signed Declaration Form.
4. Consent forms or waivers of consent forms.
5. Research proposal JSAC (ver. July 2020)/UGRMC/PGRMC.
6. JSAC/UGRMC/PGRMC certificate.
7. Data collection proformas.
8. Curriculum vitae of the PI and co-investigator(s) / guide, and co-guide.
As the notice states, "Faculty, PhD scholars, P.G., and U.G. students are invited to submit research proposals approved by JSAC/PGRMC/SCTRC/GJ-STRAUS for approval by the Institutional Ethics Committee—Observational Studies in the prescribed proforma.”.
