New Delhi: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIU) has announced that the application deadline for admission to the Nurse Practitioner Critical Care Program (CET) for the academic session 2024–25 has been extended to June 10, 2024.
GGSIU invited applications in physical mode for admission to the Nurse Practitioner CET for 2024–25. The original deadline for receiving application forms was May 15, 2024.
Admission Criteria:
Merit for admission will be based on an interview, with 25% weight given to the interview and 75% to the marks obtained in the final qualifying examination.
Eligibility Criteria:
i. The candidate must be a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife with any State Nursing Registration Council.
ii. The minimum education requirement is passing B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, or M.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
iii. A minimum of one year of work experience before or after post-B.Sc. nursing (preferably in critical care units) is required.
iv. A minimum of one year of work experience after basic B.Sc. nursing (preferably in critical care units) is desirable.
Candidates who meet the above eligibility criteria and wish to seek admission to the Nurse Practitioner Critical Care program must apply in physical mode, using the prescribed format.
They should submit their applications during working days or hours at the Facilitation Centre of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sector 16C, Dwarka, New Delhi, from April 22, 2024, to May 15, 2024, along with self-attested copies of relevant certificates and a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 1500/- through a demand draft drawn in favor of the Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, payable in Delhi.
The Nurse Practitioner Critical Care program is a two-year course with 10 seats available. This program will be conducted at the Max Institute of Nursing Education and Training, situated at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket.
