Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan blazoned on Sunday that 10th and 12th grade board examinations would begin being taken doubly annually beginning 2025- 2026, in line with one of the pretensions of 2020 National Education Policy to reduce academic stress among scholars. At an event held at Raipur's Pandit Deendayal Auditorium, Minister Pradhan stressed the significance of engaging scholars with art, culture and sports among others.
Speaking about NEP 2020 plan of Centre, Pradhan informed that 10th and 12th class board examinations would now be offered doubly starting 2025- 2026 academic time. According to the New Curriculum Framework blazoned by the Ministry of Education last August, board examinations will take place doubly each time to give scholars enough time for medication; only their stylish grade will be retained. Pradhan asked scholars at the event if they agreed with his decision and instructed them to take both examinations to keep their stylish scores after taking both examinations.
Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji's National Examination Programme( NEP), Pradhan hopes that scholars would feel relieved from stress while entering quality education that connects culture and prepares them for unborn employment-" this is India's path to getting a advanced nation by 2047", as stated. Pradhan lashed out at former Congress governments in the state for failing to prioritize education. Under BJP rule, this sector entered top precedence after Vishnu Deo Sai was appointed Chief Minister in December 2018. The Union Minister blazoned that in the original phase, 211 seminaries( 197 abecedarian and 18 secondary) will be upgraded using a" mecca and spoke" model at an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore per institution.
According to this model, tutor institutions- also appertained to as' capitals'- will serve as central points, with their primary part being to guide mentee institutions via secondary branches( or spokes), furnishing services designed to prop tone- enhancement for their mentee institutions. Agrawal, Pradhan blazoned that further secondary and high academy seminaries would be covered under Phase Two. He blazoned India's shot for hosting the Olympic Games in 2036 and expects athletes from Chhattisgarh to win 10 percent of orders at this quadrennial event for India.
