Gujarat – The Director of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Gujarat, invites applications from eligible candidates for PG medical admissions for government seats, management seats, and NRI seats in MD/MS/Diploma courses at government and self-financed medical colleges for the academic year 2024-25.

Candidates who have qualified in NEET-PG-2024 and meet the National Medical Commission and Gujarat State admission criteria can apply according to the following schedule:

To complete the online registration, candidates must purchase a PIN on the website for Rs. 3,000 (non-refundable) plus a refundable security deposit of Rs. 25,000, totaling Rs. 28,000. Help Centers operate from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and remain closed on Sundays and government holidays. Candidates must schedule an appointment for document verification at the Help Center, choosing the date, time, and center when printing the registration slip.

Eligibility Criteria for MD/MS/Diploma Admission:

• The candidate must have completed an MBBS course recognized by a university under the Government of Gujarat and located in the state.
• Alternatively, the candidate must have completed an MBBS course recognized by a university under the Government of India, located in any Indian state/union territory or abroad, while fulfilling the National Medical Commission (NMC) criteria. Additionally, the candidate must have passed the 12th grade with a "B-group" or "AB-group" from the Gujarat Board or from other recognized national boards and either be born in Gujarat or hold Gujarat state domicile.
• The candidate must have completed a compulsory rotating internship on or before August 15, 2024.

1. Final year MBBS marksheets (attempt-wise)
2. NEET-PG Marksheet of the current year
3. Internship completion certificate (before 15/08/2024)
4. Provisional or Permanent Registration of State Medical Council or Medical Council of India
5. Proof of Date & Place of Birth and Indian Citizenship (School Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate)
6. Caste certificate for SEBC, ST, and SC categories (Gujarat only)
7. Non-creamy layer certificate for SEBC category (valid for 2024-25, Gujarat only)
8. EWS certificate (valid for 2024-25, Gujarat only)
9. Disability Certificate for PwD candidates
10. Copy of passport (for dual/foreign citizenship)
11. 12th Marksheet (for MBBS candidates from outside Gujarat)
12. Domicile Certificate (if birthplace is outside Gujarat)

Merit List and Choice Filling Process:

After registration, the ACPPGMEC will prepare and publish the merit list. Following merit declaration, candidates will participate in the online choice filling for each round. After the choice filling period, ACPPGMEC will allot seats, and candidates can check their status by logging into their user account.

Payment of Tuition Fees: Candidates must pay the tuition fees through cash/DD at any designated Axis Bank branch or via online payment within the specified timeframe.

Note: Registration must be completed online, but document submission requires visiting the Help Center with the necessary certificates and registration slip.

For NRI Candidates Only: After applying online, NRI candidates must submit a demand draft of Rs. 25,000 (non-refundable) to ACPUGMEC at GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar, for processing. Document verification for NRI candidates will also take place at the ACPPGMEC office, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar.
