Speaking at the fourth Healthcare Leaders Summit, Dr. Rajesh S. Gokhale, Secretary of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, emphasized the increasing impact of biotechnology on India's economy and society.
He projected that the biotech sector’s contribution to the nation's GDP will double within the next decade. Dr. Gokhale also mentioned that over the next 25 years, the biotechnology industry will experience an industrial revolution, creating vast opportunities for growth and innovation.
