New Delhi - The ,All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has postponed the Institute of National Importance Super-Speciality Entrance Test (INI SS) January 2025 seat allotment process. AIIMS made this announcement through an official notice. However, it will release the revised schedule for the online seat allotment process soon on its official website.
According to the notice, AIIMS has withdrawn the online seat allocation process for the INI-SS January 2025 session due to unavoidable circumstances. The revised schedule for the online seat allocation will be published in due course.
Meanwhile, AIIMS released the INI SS January 2025 merit list on December 13, 2024. Along with this, AIIMS also published the list of ineligible candidates for admission to DM/MCh/MD (Hospital Administration) courses for the January 2025 session. This list includes 122 candidates who did not meet the eligibility criteria for the INI SS January 2025 session.
As per the previous schedule, the counselling session was supposed to be conducted in three rounds - Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3. The registration process was set to begin on December 22, 2024.
INI SS, which stands for Institute of National Importance Super Specialty Entrance Test, is conducted annually to offer admission to DM/MCh courses. The National Board of Examination (NBE) organizes this exam in computer-based mode every year.
Through the INI SS January 2025 counselling, students will gain admission to Doctorate of Medicine (DM), Master of Chirurgia (MCh), and Doctor of Medicine in Hospital Administration courses at AIIMS New Delhi, JIPMER Puducherry, PGIMER Chandigarh, NIMHANS Bengaluru, and SCTIMST Thiruvananthapuram. Only candidates who have qualified for the INI SS 2025 exam are eligible to participate in the counselling.
