AIIMS Bhubaneswar Releases Guidelines for Round 1 MBBS Counselling

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar, has issued essential instructions for candidates taking part within the first spherical of MBBS counselling for the 2024 batch. The orientation is scheduled for August 30, 2024, with academic periods starting on August 31, 2024.

Key Dates and Instructions:
- Hostel Reporting and Admission: August 24, 2024. Candidates are advised to study the commands carefully before proceeding with admission.

- Admission Process Schedule: Available at the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website. Candidates should comply with the programme as per the facts provided.

Required Documents (Originals):

  •  Laboratory Test Reports: X-Ray chest (PA view), Random Blood Sugar, Urine Analysis, Blood Group, and Rh factor from a Government/NABL accepted lab.
  • NTA Rank Letter: Issued through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
    Three. Provisional Allotment Letter: Issued through the MCC.
    Four. Bank Draft: An authentic draft worth ?5,856, payable to AIIMS, Bhubaneswar Academic Fund (A/c No. 557810110001482). Ensure your call, cell number, All India Rank, and e-mail ID are written in capital letters at the lower back of the draft.
  • Temporary Allotment Letter: Issued by MCC.
  • Bank Bank: Original draft of ?5,856, payable to AIIMS, Bhubaneswar Education Fund (A/c No. 557810110001482). Ensure that your name, mobile number, All India Rank and Email ID are written in capital letters on the back of the draft.
  • Date of Birth Certificate: Or a certificate from the board stating your date of birth.
  • 10+2 Examination Certificate: Indicates the subjects taken in the examination.
  • 10+2 Mark Sheet: Screen from which the exam was passed.
  • Caste Certificate: If applicable, a valid certificate of SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS status, as indicated in your application form. Candidates should regularly check the MCC website for the validity period of OBC-NCL/EWS certificates. 
  • PwD Certificates: If applicable, from designated disabled centers as per MCC guidelines. The procedure must be in accordance with Appendix J, and the certification must be from the organizations listed in Appendix K .
  • Photography: Two attested photocopies of all the above documents. 
  • Passport-size photos: Two recent passport-sized facing photos.

Candidates must ensure that they have all required documents in original form and submit them as directed at the time of admission.
