AIIMS MBBS is a national level entrance exam for admission into MBBS course of AIIMS. Up until 2019, AIIMS used to conduct separate entrance exams. But from 2020, AIIMS exam was scrapped off. Admission to AIIMS-MBBS colleges is now conducted through NEET-UG exams and scores. NEET -UG conducted by National Testing Agency is held in the month of May every year. AIIMS is one of the most prestigious colleges in the country providing medical courses like MBBS (Allopathy) and BDS (Dental).
AIIMS stands for All India Institute of Medical Science and it is headquartered in New Delhi, India. It conducts entrance exam every year for the admission of students in AIIMS MBBS courses. This institute has around 9 branches all across the country in places like New Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Rajasthan, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. Since then, 24 more institutes were announced. As of January 2023, twenty institutes are operating and four more are expected to become operational by 2025.

At the last stage of application, applicants have to pay the application fee. Only then the application will be accepted and further processed. The fee varies according to the category:

The window for application filling will be open only up to the first week of April. In the second week of April, the website again provides an option for correction of specific details.
AIIMS-MBBS Exam Pattern
AIIMS-MBBS exam is a Multiple-Choice Question based exam which is conducted in offline mode. The question paper comprises of total 200 questions. Students have to attempt 180 questions of their own choice. There are 3 main subjects -Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology). The total duration of the exam is 3 hours 20 minutes. The total marks of the paper are 720. The marking scheme of the paper goes as follows:
No marks will be given to the extra attempted questions. Be careful to attempt only those questions you are sure of.

The exam is conducted in 13 different languages. English and other regional languages. The choice of the language has to made at the time of application form filling.
AIIMS -MBBS Result is declared tentatively in the month of June 2023 on the official website of NTA. Every year approximately 17-18 lakh students appear for NEET-UG exam. Only those students who have scored above the cut off score are eligible for counselling for medical colleges. According to the cutoff decided an All-India merit list is prepared by MCC which ranks the students on various criterias:

Approximately by the end of September all the rounds are conducted and the seats are filled. The academic year in a medical college starts tentatively in the mid of September but again this varies from college to college.
