Notification:
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released seat vacancies for PG Dental-MDS courses in government and private colleges. These include the government quota in-service and the NRI/others quota for the academic year 2024–25 in the state of Karnataka.
For the academic year 2024–25, Karnataka has a total of 921 vacant seats for dental degree courses. Out of these, 226 seats are available across 11 dental courses in Karnataka Government Colleges. Private dental colleges in Karnataka have 417 vacant seats in 13 dental courses. Additionally, the Government Quota in-service category has 39 vacant seats. The NRI/Others Quota in Karnataka Dental Colleges has 225 vacant seats. Moreover, there are 14 vacant seats for PWD in the government quota.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority, governed by the Governing Council headed by the Honourable Minister of Higher Education, was established by the Government of Karnataka in 1994. Its purpose is to conduct entrance tests and determine eligibility and merit for admission to full-time professional courses, including medical, dental, Indian systems of medicine, homeopathy, and others, specifically for the government share of seats.
