UPSC CMSE 2024: Important Instructions for Qualified Candidates

New Delhi- Having considered the merit list of the Combined Medical Services Examination 2024 held on July 14, 2024, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has advised the roll numbers of the candidates who made it to the Interview/ Personality Test.

The date of the interview of candidates who are in the ‘Hold List’ waiting for clearance for the Personality Test and will be filling the DAF will be announced at the Commission later. It will be issued to the candidates through an e-summon letter and the actual date of the interview and time will be fixed for each candidate. As for this matter, candidates are recommended to check the Commission’s website for updates.

The Commission would like to place it on record that no request for changes of the date and time of the Personality Test would be entertained in any form.

The UPSC useful for the view that the candidature of the respective candidates is provisional subject to their eligibility in terms of the notice of the examination and rules of the examination. The original certificates sought by the applicant concerning his/her age/age relaxation/Date of Birth, educational qualification, community, benchmark disability, etc., as applicable must be produced at the time of the interview/personality test. They should, therefore, retain their certificates and refer to the position on the requirement for certificates depending on the guidelines in the vital instructions on the Commission’s website before attending the Personality Test.

The UPSC has also made press note telling all these candidates that they have to submit the Detailed Application Form (DAF) through on line mode only and the concerned link of the Commission’s website for submitting the DAF will be uploaded shortly. Instructions concerning the completion of the DAF and its submission to the online Commission will also be posted on the Website. The candidates who have been declared successful must first register on the relevant page of the Commission’s website before filling out the ONLINE DAF and submit it online along with uploading scanned copies of relevant certificates/documents supporting their eligibility and claim for reservation.

One should read the DAF and the rules governing the CMSE 2024 when filling the DAF concerning the certificates to be presented during the interview. They will be held solely responsible for not annexing enough documents showcasing their age, date of births, educational qualification, the community of the candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS, and a certificate of disability in the case of PwBD candidates. Any of these qualified candidates who do not possess all or any of the original documents in support of his/her candidature for the Combined Medical Services Examination, 2024 shall not be allowed to appear before the PT Board and as such no TA will be permitted.

Candidates who have not qualified will have their mark sheet uploaded on the Commission’s website after the final result to which the press note states will be up for 30 days.

The mark sheets have been provided in the PDF format, and the candidates can search for their results with the help of roll numbers and date of birth. The UPSC will dispatch the printed/hard copies of the mark sheets to candidates who will apply with their requests, in writing, along with stamped self-addressed envelope. This notice informs the candidates who wish to get printed/hard copies of the mark sheets to apply within thirty days from the date the marks are placed on the Commission’s website. The Commission will not entertain such requests beyond the aforementioned period.
