Uttar Pradesh's Director General of Medical Education (UPDGME) has released guidelines for NEET PG Round 2 counselling. The key highlights are as follows:

Government College Admissions:
- The admission process for candidates allotted or re-allotted seats in government medical colleges will take place at the respective medical college/institute/university/hospital.

Private Sector Admissions:
- Admissions for candidates allotted or re-allotted seats in private medical colleges will be conducted at nodal centers designated by the government.

Mandatory In-Person Admission:
- Allotted candidates must appear in person for the admission process.

Document Verification:
- Candidates must present original educational, category, subcategory, and other relevant certificates during admission.

Tuition Fee Payment for Private Colleges:
- Tuition fees must be paid via CTS bank draft, issued in favor of the Director General, Medical Education & Training, U.P., payable at Lucknow.
- Private college management may charge less than the government-fixed tuition fees but cannot exceed it. The tuition fee details, including minority institution fee structures, are available on dgme.up.gov.in and upneet.gov.in.

Fee Adjustments for Reallocation:
- If reallocated to a private college with a lower tuition fee, the excess amount will be transferred to the new college.
- If the tuition fee is higher, the difference must be deposited via bank draft at the nodal center.

Medical Examination for Certain Candidates:
- Candidates allotted to 10 wards must undergo a medical examination by the Medical Board at the college level.

PG Session Commencement:
- The postgraduate session for the academic year 2024-25 will begin on December 20, 2024, as announced by MCC, New Delhi.
