Tamil Nadu (TN) Health has released the tentative schedule for Round 2 counselling for postgraduate (PG) degree/diploma courses in Tamil Nadu Government Medical Colleges, Government Quota Seats, Management including Minority & NRI quota seats in self-financing colleges, and 20% and 50% seats of Christian Medical College for the 2024-25 session.
As per the schedule, the Round 2 counselling process for PG Degree/Diploma courses will begin on December 14, 2024, and end on December 28, 2024. Below is the complete schedule:

Fee Structure:
Candidates participating in the online choice filling for PG Degree/Diploma Courses will need to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 1,000/- for the Government Quota. Additionally, candidates must pay a refundable security deposit:
B.Sc.Physician Assistant
- Rs. 30,000/- for Government Medical Colleges
- Rs. 1,00,000/- for Government Quota seats in Self-Financing Medical Colleges
- Rs. 2,00,000/- for Management Quota and Minority/NRI Category seats in Self-Financing Medical Colleges.
If candidates have already paid, they do not need to pay again.
CHOICE FILLING:
- Candidates must be careful while filling their choices.
- Candidates can choose from all available seats for which they have applied.
- Candidates can edit their choices as many times as they want before locking them. Once locked, they cannot make further changes, so it is advised to double-check the order of preference.
- If a candidate does not lock their choices by the last date, their choices will be automatically locked.
VIRTUAL VACANCIES:
- Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 and opt for re-allotment in Round 2 will see their Round 1 seat as a virtual vacancy in Round 2. Other candidates can lock this virtual seat during the choice filling. However, it will only become a real vacancy if the Round 1 candidate vacates the seat.
- Vacancy positions for the courses will be updated on the official websites.
- The selection committee will not be responsible for connectivity or procedural errors.
REPORTING TO ALLOTTED COLLEGE:
- Candidates must present their original certificates in person at the time of joining their allotted colleges, along with scanned copies for verification.
- If a candidate does not report to the head of the institution to which they have been allotted by the specified time, their selection may be forfeited.
- The selected candidate must submit a self-declaration form at the time of reporting, acknowledging that the candidate will forfeit their admission if any facts are suppressed or misrepresented during the admission process.
