TN Health Extends Registration Deadline for DNB & Diploma Courses

Tamil Nadu – The Tamil Nadu (TN) Health Department has extended the registration and payment deadlines for Round 2 Counselling for DNB-Post Diploma, Post MBBS 2-year Diploma courses, and DNB-Broad Specialty Post Diploma courses in government colleges in Tamil Nadu for the 2024-25 session. The new deadline is tomorrow. TN Health has released the revised schedule for candidates on its official website.

According to the revised schedule, the registration and payment process will now conclude by 10:00 AM tomorrow, December 17, 2024, instead of the previously scheduled deadline of 05:00 PM today, December 16, 2024.

In addition, TN Health has revised the timing for the choice filling and locking process for Round 2 counselling. Originally, it was set to end at 10:00 AM, but it has now been extended to 02:00 PM. The remaining schedule will proceed as per the original timetable.

Candidates participating in the online choice filling for the DNB course must pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 1000/- for the government quota. Additionally, at the time of registration, candidates must pay a refundable security deposit of Rs. 30,000/- for government medical colleges/institutions (if they haven't already paid it).

Instructions for Downloading the Allotment Order:

  1. Candidates who were allotted seats in Round-I of online counselling and have already paid the tuition fee must pay only the difference (if any).
  2. Candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course at the concerned Medical College/Institution by the specified date and time mentioned in the Provisional Allotment Order.
