TN Health Begins DNB Round 2 Counselling

The Tamil Nadu Health Department has started Round 2 counselling for DNB-Post Diploma, Post MBBS 2-Year Diploma Courses, and DNB-Broad Specialty Post Diploma Courses in government colleges for the 2024-25 academic session.

The counselling began on December 14, 2024, and will end on December 28, 2024.

Counseling Schedule

  • Registration/Payment: Opens on 14 Dec 2024 at 10:00 A.M. and closes on 16 Dec 2024 at 5:00 P.M.
  • Choice Filling & Locking: Starts on 17 Dec 2024 at 10:00 A.M. and ends on 18 Dec 2024 at 10:00 A.M.
  • Processing of Seat Allotment: Scheduled for 18 Dec 2024.
  • Result Declaration: Results will be announced on 19 Dec 2024.
  • Downloading Provisional Allotment: Begins on 19 Dec 2024 and ends on 28 Dec 2024 at 3:00 P.M.
  • Last Date for Joining: Candidates must join their allotted institutions by 28 Dec 2024 at 5:00 P.M.

Important Details

Registration and Fees:

  • Candidates must pay a non-refundable registration fee of ?1,000/- for the government quota.
  • A refundable security deposit of ?30,000/- is required for government colleges unless already paid during Round 1.
  • Candidates who paid the tuition fee during Round 1 should pay only the balance amount, if applicable.

Provisional Allotment and Joining:

  • Candidates should download their Provisional Allotment Order and join the assigned institution by the specified deadline.
  • Candidates must present their original certificates and scanned copies for verification when joining.

Reporting to College:

  • Candidates who fail to report to the allotted institution within the stipulated time will lose their selection or admission without further notice.
  • Candidates must submit a self-declaration form, confirming that they understand their admission will be canceled if they suppress facts or misrepresent information.

Virtual Vacancies

Round 1 candidates opting for re-allotment in Round 2 will see their Round 1 seat listed as a virtual vacancy. These virtual vacancies will become real only if Round 1 candidates vacate them. Seats will then be allocated based on merit.
