Chandigarh: The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) has released the PhD counselling date for the January 2025 session.
The institute will conduct the PhD counselling on 30 December 2024 at 3:00 PM in the APC Auditorium, PGIMER, Chandigarh. PGIMER will soon publish the provisional list of qualified candidates, based on merit in the entrance exam, on its official website.
Important Dates for PhD Admission
PGIMER started the registration process for the PhD Programme 2024 in November. The institute set 22 November 2024 as the deadline to complete the online application and payment. After registration, candidates will take the Computer-Based Test (CBT) on 5 December 2024, and PGIMER will announce the results on 16 December 2024.
Joining Guidelines
Candidates must join their respective courses on the dates specified in their admission letters. Those who fail to join by the deadline will lose their admission automatically. In exceptional cases, PGIMER may allow candidates to join late—up to 31 January for the January session and 31 July for the July session. Admissions for the January session will officially close on 31 January, while the July session will close on 31 July each year.
