NEET PG: NMC Sets Deadline for 17 Medical Colleges to Submit PG Medical Admissions Information Online

New Delhi: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a deadline to 17 medical colleges to input the details of students admitted to Post Graduate Broad Specialty Courses through NEET PG 2023 onto the NMC portal.

Previously, the apex medical regulator had instructed all medical colleges nationwide to upload PG medical admission data onto the NMC portal, with the deadline extended to November 2023.

However, due to technical glitches, 17 medical institutions were unable to complete the data submission. Consequently, the NMC has provided them with an additional opportunity to furnish the required information, setting a new deadline for March 9, 2024. The list of these colleges is outlined below.

The following is the list of the 17 medical colleges required to provide the necessary information:

1. Government Sivagangai Medical College, Sivagana
2. Government Medical College, Omandurar
3. PSG Institute of Medical Sciences, Coimbatore
4. Cuddalore Medical College, Annamalainagar
5. Coimbatore Medical College, Coimbatore
6. Stanley Medical College, Chennai
7. Thoothukudi Medical College, Thoothukudi .
8. The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai
9. Trichy SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Trichy
10. Madras Medical College, Chennai
11. Velammal Medical College Hospital & Research Institute, Madurai
12. Sree Mookambika Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Coimbatore
13. Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences & Research, Coimbatore
14. KAP Viswanathan Government Medical College, Trichy
15. Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College & Hospital, Perambalur
16. Tagore Medical College & Hospital, Chennai
17. Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal

In a recent notification, the apex medical regulator stated, "Certain Medical Colleges/Institutes under this Commission have encountered difficulties in submitting details of students admitted to Post Graduate Broad Specialty Courses based on NEET PG - 2023, attributed to technical issues/court orders. Therefore, these colleges are given another opportunity to input the details on the NMC Portal, accessible from March 6th to 9th, 2024."

"The concerned colleges are urged to provide the required data within the specified timeframe. No physical/manual submissions will be accepted under any circumstances," the NMC notice emphasized.

"It is the responsibility of the colleges/concerned parties to furnish accurate and authentic information. Any provision of incorrect information may result in action by the NMC within the bounds of the law. For any difficulties accessing the NMC website, an email can be sent to the provided email address, and the Commission office will respond within 2 working days to address the issue," the notice further stated.
