New Delhi – The National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will begin accepting applications for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) for the 2025 academic year.
According to the official notice, NBE will conduct NEET MDS on April 19, 2025, using a computer-based platform at various exam centers across the country. The results will likely be announced by May 19, 2025. Candidates planning to appear for the exam can submit their application forms starting tomorrow, February 18, 2025, at 03:00 PM. The registration window will remain open until March 10, 2025, at 11:55 PM.
Steps to Apply:
- Register on the official portal to generate a User ID and Password.
- Fill out the application form.
- Upload a recent photograph and signature.
- Pay the required application fee.
- Print the completed application form with the transaction ID for future reference.
Additionally, the information bulletin, which will soon be available on the NBE's official website, will include details about eligibility criteria, the fee structure, the exam pattern, and other essential information.
In 2024, NEET MDS took place on March 18, and the initial internship completion deadline was March 31. However, authorities later extended it to June 30. This year, although the exam has been postponed by a month, the official internship completion deadline remains March 31, 2025.

NEET-MDS serves as the only eligibility and ranking examination for admission to various MDS courses, as prescribed under the Dentists Act of 1948 (with subsequent amendments). No other state or institutional entrance exam will be considered for MDS admissions across universities and institutions nationwide.
