Modi to Inaugurate 3 New Medical Colleges in Madhya Pradesh Today

Bhopal: PM Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate three medical colleges in Neemuch, Mandsaur, and Seoni on Tuesday. During the event, he will also transfer Rs 1,624 crore to the accounts of 81 lakh farmers in the state and hand out appointment letters to 512 Ayurveda medical officers.

On the eve of the inauguration, CM Mohan Yadav highlighted that Madhya Pradesh is establishing a new identity in the medical field. He noted that, with the rapid opening of medical colleges, each district in the state would soon have its own medical college.

To strengthen the state’s healthcare system, Yadav announced a plan to fill approximately 25,000 positions over the next two years. Addressing medical tourism, he said parks would be developed on 200-250 acres to provide various super-specialty health services in one central location.
