Notification:
Telangana — Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has issued a notification to commence web options for the mop-up phase of B.Sc Nursing (4-year) and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (2-year) courses under the Competent Authority quota for the 2024-25 academic year. This phase follows the second round of counseling, allowing eligible students to secure seats in both government and private nursing colleges affiliated with KNRUHS.
According to the notification, candidates whose documents were uploaded and provisionally verified during online registration and who appear on the provisional final merit list for B.Sc. (Nursing) 4YDC and P.B. B.Sc. (Nursing) 2YDC courses for 2024-25 can now exercise web options online from any internet-enabled computer. Eligible candidates can access the web options portal from 10:00 AM on November 14, 2024, until 3:00 PM on November 16, 2024.
It’s important to note that candidates who fail to join or discontinue after joining in the second phase of counseling are not permitted to participate in the mop-up phase.
University Fees
Candidates allotted seats must pay a university fee of Rs. 6,000 via online payment methods, such as debit/credit card or Internet banking, to download their allotment letter.
Candidates who paid the university fee in the first phase need not pay again. Once paid, university and other fees are non-refundable. Additionally, candidates must pay the tuition fee at their respective colleges as determined by the government for each course.
Original certificates will undergo final verification at the allotted college, and any discrepancy may lead to cancellation of the provisional allotment per university regulations. These certificates will not be returned unless the candidate withdraws from the course.
Candidates are advised to select options for all colleges they wish to join, regardless of current vacancies, as seats may open due to student movement within the counseling phases. If a candidate secures a seat in the mop-up phase, any seat allocated in previous rounds will be automatically reassigned to another candidate. Therefore, candidates should carefully consider their web options, especially for sliding between preferred colleges.
Selected candidates must report to the principal of their assigned college before the joining deadline specified in the allotment letter, submit all original certificates, and complete fee payments to finalize admission. Failure to complete these steps within the stipulated time will result in automatic cancellation of admission.
