Notification:
Andhra Pradesh— Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTRUHS) has invited online applications for the remaining seats after the MQ Phase-III (Mop-Up) round. Eligible candidates can apply for stray vacancy seats in postgraduate medical degree/diploma courses under the Competent Authority Quota and Management Quota (S1/S2/S3) in both government and private unaided non-minority and minority medical colleges across Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2024-25.
Key Dates and Application Details
According to the official notification, the online application process is now open on the Dr. NTRUHS website. Candidates can apply between February 13, 2025, at 5:00 PM, and February 16, 2025, at 11:55 PM.
Fresh registrations and choice filling are mandatory for the Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates listed in the Consolidated CQ and MQ merit list who do not currently hold a seat are also eligible to apply.
For Management Quota seats, all unfilled S1B seats will be converted into S1A seats. Similarly, for the Competent Authority Quota, all unfilled seats will be classified as unreserved open general seats.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible Candidates:
Candidates who are not holding any seat from Phase/Round I, II, or III (AIQ, State, Deemed) can participate in the Stray Vacancy Round.
Candidates who were allotted seats but did not join in Phase/Round I or II of the State Quota and All India Quota are eligible for Stray Counselling.
Ineligible Candidates:
Candidates currently holding PG (Medical) seats from Phase I & II of State Counselling.
Candidates are allotted a seat in Phase III (Mop-Up) of State Counselling.
Candidates with a seat in Round 1, Round 2, or Round 3 of All India Quota/Deemed Universities (conducted by MCC/DGHS).
Candidates are allotted a seat in the Stray Round of All India Quota/Deemed Universities (conducted by MCC/DGHS).
Candidates who secured a seat in the CQ Stray Round cannot participate in the MQ Stray Round, regardless of their application or choice submission.
NEET PG 2024 Revised Cutoff for Eligibility
Candidates must secure the following minimum percentile in NEET PG 2024 to qualify for admission:
General/EWS: 15th percentile and above
UR-PwBD: 10th percentile and above
SC/ST/OBC (including PwBD of SC/ST/OBC): 10th percentile and above
