BOPEE Announces Offline Applications for DNB Admissions 2024

The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (J&K BOPEE) is inviting offline applications for admission to DNB (Broad Specialty) courses for the academic year 2024, following the reduction in the NEET PG cutoff percentile.

According to the official notification, after the NEET PG merit reduction, J&K BOPEE has informed all concerned NEET PG-qualified in-service candidates and doctors that it is inviting offline applications for admission to Post MBBS DNB seats, Post Diploma DNB seats, and Post MBBS Diploma seats (Broad Specialty) from January 15th to 17th, 2025.

Candidates who meet the revised eligibility criteria and wish to participate in the next round of counseling for seats left vacant during the previous counseling round or due to resignations should apply as early as possible and submit all required documents offline. Additionally, eligible candidates who have not registered earlier but wish to be considered for vacant seats may submit their documents to the BOPEE Office in Jammu/Srinagar for registration within the prescribed time.

IMPORTANT POINTS:

  1. Merely registering does not guarantee any claim to vacant seats, which will be filled based on the merit and preference of eligible/registered candidates.
  2. The seat matrix will be uploaded a day before counseling begins.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has recently revised the NEET PG 2024 cutoff scores. The minimum eligibility for the general category is now the 15th percentile, and for SC/ST/OBC/PWD, it is the 10th percentile.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) was established by an Act of the State Legislature. Under this Act, the Board is responsible for conducting entrance examinations and recommending the selection of candidates for admission to various professional courses in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
