Patna: Candidates interested in enrolling in the Post-Doctoral Fellowship course at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna for the 2024 session can still submit their application forms until June 18th.

Recently, AIIMS Patna announced through a notice that the university has extended the deadline for submitting the online application form for the Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) course for the 2024 session to June 18, 2024. The registration for the course began on May 25, 2024, and was initially valid until June 10, 2024.

Additionally, the deadline for uploading the status of accepted and rejected applications, along with the reasons for rejection, on the website has been extended to June 22, 2024. Consequently, the final list of eligible candidates will now be uploaded to the website on June 25, 2024. The date for obtaining the admit card has also been extended, and candidates can download their admit cards on June 28, 2024.

However, the examination date remains unchanged and will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024. All other terms and conditions mentioned in the prospectus will also remain the same.

Scheme of Examination

1. Written Examination
The written examination will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) relevant to the respective specialty.
The duration of the examination will be 90 minutes.
The total marks for the written examination will be 100.

2. Interview
Candidates who qualify for the written examination will be called for an interview.
The interview will assess the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and aptitude for the fellowship program.
The interview will carry a total of 20 marks.

3. Final Selection
The final selection of candidates will be based on the combined scores of the written examination and the interview.
A merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained.

4. Syllabus
The syllabus for the written examination will be based on the standard curriculum of the qualifying degree (MD/DNB/MS/MCh) relevant to the respective fellowship course.

5. Important Dates

Interview Date: To be announced after the written examination results

6. Admit Card
Admit cards can be downloaded from the AIIMS Patna website starting June 28, 2024.
