AIIMS Patna Announces Document and Fee Submission Guidelines for MBBS 2024

Patna: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released detailed guidelines for candidates seeking admission to the MBBS program in 2024.

Candidates reporting to AIIMS Patna for MBBS admission must bring specific original documents along with two sets of self-attested Xerox copies.

The original documents required are:

  1. 10th Mark Sheet
  2. 10th Passing Certificate
  3. 12th Mark Sheet
  4. 12th Passing Certificate
  5. Migration Certificate issued by the last attended university or board

Additionally, candidates must carry the following documents:

  1.  NEET Registration Slip (provided by NTA).
  2. NEET Admit Card (provided by NTA)
  3.  NEET Score Card/Rank Letter (provided by NTA)
  4.  Seat Allotment Letter (provided by MCC)
  5.  Original relieving letters from previously allotted and reported institutions (if applicable)
  6.  Five recent passport-size colored photographs
  7.  Identity Proof of Self and Guardian (Aadhar Card/Election Card/Passport/PAN Card)
  8.  Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates) issued by a competent authority for admission to a Central Government College or Institute. OBC/EWS certificates issued from April 1, 2023, to the start of Round 1 of the MBBS 2024 counseling schedule as notified by MCC will be considered valid.
  9.  A PwBD Certificate (if applicable) issued by an authorized medical board from MCC-identified centers
  10. Undertaking and Declaration by the Candidate (soft copy attached
  11.  A signed, notarized affidavit by the parent and student regarding the rules to be followed at AIIMS Patna

Candidates must also pay ? 5,856 as the admission fee and ? 8,100 as mess charges (for two months). If any student vacates or surrenders the confirmed seat, a penalty of ? 3,00,000 will be imposed.

Admissions will be processed at the Administrative Building, AIIMS Patna, from Monday to Friday, between 09:30 AM and 05:00 PM, and on Saturday, from 09:30 AM to 01:00 PM. On gazetted holidays and off days, the timing will be from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Candidates are advised to prepare for an additional day of stay as completing the admission formalities, including the medical examination, may take 1-2 days. It is recommended that candidates plan their journey in advance to avoid complications and refrain from reporting on the last date to ensure all necessary formalities are completed smoothly.
