Kathua: In a major development for AYUSH education, North India’s first government-funded homoeopathic college in the Jasrota area of Kathua district has received approval to admit 63 students in its first academic session. Established with a central investment of Rs 80 crore, this college aligns with the Modi government’s approach to integrating allopathic and AYUSH systems, including homeopathy, ayurveda, and naturopathy.
Approved by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through the Ministry of AYUSH upon the request of Dr. Jitendra Singh, the college will soon start enrolling its inaugural class of students. Dr. BR Dub, the college's nodal officer, announced that the counseling process for admissions will begin shortly, as reported by ANI.

Dr. Singh shared that the Homeopathy College, approved following their request to Prime Minister Narendra Modi via the Ministry of AYUSH, has now received the green light to admit its first batch of 63 students.
