PGIMER Chandigarh has released an announcement regarding the MOP-UP/2nd round counselling schedule for the MSc Nursing course session 2024 through an official notice. According to the notice, the MOP-UP/2nd round of Physical Counselling for MSc Nursing admissions for the session 2024 will take place on July 23, 2024, at 02:00 PM at Nine Auditorium, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
This counselling session aims to fill the 14 vacant seats across General (UR), OBC, SC, and ST categories. Eligibility criteria specify that candidates must have secured at least the 50th percentile (for General category) or the 45th percentile (for SC/ST/OBC categories) to participate in the counselling process.
Seats will be allocated strictly based on merit. In cases where no eligible candidates are available for reserved categories and seats remain unfilled during counselling, those seats may be converted to UR category. Allocation to such UR candidates will follow the merit order. Additionally, the number of available seats may increase in case of candidate withdrawals before counselling.
Qualified candidates meeting the specified percentile requirements must attend document verification on July 23, 2024, at the Auditorium of the National Institute of Nursing Education (NINE), PGIMER, Chandigarh, between 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Candidates are required to bring their original documents along with photocopies for verification.
This process ensures a transparent and merit-based admission procedure for MSc Nursing at PGIMER Chandigarh for the session 2024.
