Seven medical colleges and two dental colleges in Delhi have secured top positions in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024. These rankings highlight Delhi's prominence in medical and dental education.

According to the NIRF 2024 rankings, the following seven medical colleges are among the top 50:

• All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi
• Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital
• Maulana Azad Medical College
• Lady Hardinge Medical College
• University College of Medical Sciences
• Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences
• Jamia Hamdard

In addition, two dental colleges—Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences and Jamia Millia Islamia—are ranked among the top 40.

AIIMS Delhi leads the medical institutions with a 1st place ranking and a score of 94.46. Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital is ranked 17th with 62.36 marks, followed by Maulana Azad Medical College at 24th place with 59.63 marks. Lady Hardinge Medical College secured the 29th spot with 57.80 marks, University College of Medical Sciences is 32nd with 57.65 marks, the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences is 34th with 56.89 marks, and Jamia Hamdard holds the 37th position with 55.53 marks.

Among dental colleges, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences ranks 3rd with a score of 74.39, while Jamia Millia Islamia is 8th with 64.38 marks.
