Notification:
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has reopened the online registration portal for available medical seats in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) Stray Vacancy Round. It has also opened registration for dental seats in the NEET UG mop-up round for the academic year 2024, which will remain accessible until tomorrow, October 23, 2024.
In addition, candidates who have already registered but did not complete their applications can now finish the submission process online. Those who have scored at or above the 50th percentile required for the `GENERAL (UR)` category in the UG NEET 2024 exam are eligible to register with KEA for the available seats in Karnataka. However, it is important to note that the eligibility criteria for SC, ST, and OBC candidates are only applicable to candidates from Karnataka.
To qualify for admission to Medical, Dental, and AYUSH seats through KEA, candidates must complete the registration process, submit their applications online, and pay the required application fee.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority operates under the leadership of the Honourable Minister of Higher Education and is governed by a Governing Council. The Government of Karnataka established the Common Entrance Test Cell in 1994 to conduct entrance tests and determine eligibility and merit for admission to the first year or first semester of full-time professional courses. These courses include government seats in medical, dental, Indian systems of medicine, homeopathy, B-Pharma, and Pharma-D programs, among others.
