What is WBUT PGET Exam 2024?

WBUT PGET is known as the West Bengal University of Technology Post Graduate Entrance Test. WBUT University now known as the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University. The WBUT entrance exam application form will be out in the first week of May 2024 (tentative). Candidates who complete their UG degree from a recognized university can apply for the West Bengal PGET exam. The applicant gets the chance to get admission into various PG courses related to engineering, pharma, science, etc.

To qualify for the exam, candidates have to answer 100 multiple choice questions divided into three sections. The WBUT PGET exam is expected to be held on June 24, 2024. WBUT PGET Exam Pattern 2024

WBUT PGET exam paper is organized at various exam centers across West Bengal. As per the exam pattern, the exam will be conducted in the English language. It is a computer based (online) exam.

• Mode of Exam: Computer based test (online)
• Number of questions: 100
• Marking scheme: 1 Marks For each correct answer, and there will be no negative marking for any wrong answer or unattempted questions in West Bengal PG entrance exam.

WBUT PGET Eligibility 2024

• Candidates who have an AICTE approved bachelor degree in engineering, technology, pharmacy, architecture or are appearing in the final year of the examination are eligible for the WBUT PGET 2024 exam.
• The final year applicant will be granted provisional admission and have to submit the final year mark sheets before the deadline as fixed by the examination authority.
• The candidate should be a citizen of India and belong to West Bengal.
• There is no upper age limit, if candidates are not following the eligibility conditions, then the authority has the right to cancel those application forms.

WBUT PGET Admit Card 2024

The WBUT PGET admit card is expected to be released in June 2024. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University will release the admit card on its official website wbuttepa.ac.in. Candidates can download the admit card with the registration number and password as mentioned in the admit card or hall ticket which is an important document for the candidates who apply for the West Bengal PGET entrance exam. Candidates will not receive the admit card via post, email or SMS. To download the admit card, follow the instructions.

WBUT PGET Result 2024

The WBUT PGET result will be declared online in July (tentative) 2024. The West Bengal University post- graduate entrance exam results disclose the total scores and rank of the candidates. The cutoff marks will be announced after the result. Candidates who qualify the exam can get admission into MAKAU University’s PG degree in engineering, Pharmacy, arts, science streams.

WBUT PGET Counseling 2024

WBUT 2024 counseling round will be held in August 2024. The final seat allotment process will depend on the entrance exam scores and personal interview scores. More than 30 colleges in West Bengal accept the WBUT PGET scores. As per the cutoff, candidates can fill out their course choice.

Candidates are advised to carry the required documents such as academic records, certificates, graduation mark sheet, WBUT admit card, PGET score card, T.C, provisional allotment, identity proof, etc. for the admission process. Candidates who are allotted seats, need to report to the allotted college within the specific time limit. After the college fee submission, the authority will confirm their admission.
