The candidate who wants to appear in the exam must check the KEAM eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. All the eligibility conditions are set by the CEE. Those who are not eligible can't get a seat in any of the listed institutes. The academic qualifications will be different for various programs, however, the common eligibility criteria is that the candidate must pass the higher secondary education from a recognized board of Kerala state or belong to other states in science, and the candidate must have completed 17 years of age.
