IISER full form is The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, it is an entrance exam,conducted every year for admission in undergraduate and integrated bachelor’s and master's programs. What is IISER Exam 2024

IISER Aptitude Test 2024 is held once a year to give admission to the BS-MS dual degree program in different IISERs. Admission to IISER exam is based on the marks he or she secures in IISER Aptitude Test. Candidates who cleared their class 12 science stream from a recognized board are eligible to apply in the exam. Candidates who are interested in possessing an engineering degree from IISERs will apply.

IISER exam dates are announced by IISER. The IAT exam date is Sunday, June 9, 2024, 9 A.M. Candidates are advised to check the official website regularly for regular updates. IISER application form 2024

IISER Admission entrance forms 2024 are available by IISER on their official website iiseradmission.in. Candidates must submit an online application form in order to appear in the examination. IISER admits students through IAT along with JEE Advanced, KVPY, and SCB. Interested candidates should fill out the application form before the closing date. The application forms are available from April 1, 2024 to May 13, 2024. The IISER admission authority will also open a correction window from May 16, 2024 to May 17, 2024.
How to fill out the IISER application form 2024:

• Step 1- Candidates need to register themselves on their official website by providing their basic details such as name, date of birth, email ID, category, and phone number. Once the registration is complete, candidates will receive user ID on their registered email ID and phone number.
• Step 2- After registration, candidates need to fill out the IISER admission form by providing their educational qualifications, academic details, and personal details.
• Step 3- Candidates need to upload the documents as per the specification below
  • Photograph and signature – 200 KB in JPG, JPEG format
  • Class 10, class 12 mark sheet and photo ID – 1 MB in PDF, JPG, JPEG format
  • Cast certificate ( if applicable)- 1 MB in PDF, JPG, JPEG format.
• Step 4- After successful document verification, candidates need to pay the IISER fee through credit card, debit card, or net banking. The fee structure varies from different categories.

IISER fee 2024

The IISER fee is paid through online mode by applicants before the submission of application form. The application fee is non-refundable. The IISER fee varies for different categories as follow-

• For General, EWS, OBC, and OBC-NCL categories- Rs 2000/-
• For SC,/ST, PwD, and persons registered as Kashmiri Migrants – Rs 1000/-

IISER Eligibility criteria 2024

The IISER exam application process is live. Candidates are advised to check their eligibility criteria before taking part in the IISER admission test. The eligibility criteria are as follows-

• Candidates must be Indian citizens, PIO or OCI to apply for the IISER Aptitude Test 2024.
• Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent level of examination in 2022, 2023, or 2024 from any recognized board.
• Among physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics at least three subjects have to be taken by candidates in their class 12 or equivalent examination.
• Applicants from general and OBC categories must score minimum 60% marks in class 12 or equivalent examination.
• Whereas candidates from SC, ST and PwD must score minimum 55% marks in their class 12 or equivalent examination.
• The candidates from Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education ( JKBOSE) from Kashmir division area of Jammu division and U.T. of Ladakh, who appeared in class 12 or equivalent level of examination in December 2021 are also eligible for the IISER exam Aptitude Test 2024. Those students have to pick 2022 as their passing year.

IISER admission process 2024

IISER exam pattern 2024

IISER exam pattern 2024 is released by the committee itself. The IAT is a three hour computer based test held in various centers across the nation. The IAT will consist of 60 questions, 15 from each physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics, therefore maximum marks are 240 marks. Questions will be of multiple choice type. As per the IISER exam pattern for each correct answer, candidates will be awarded 4 marks and the wrong answer will be deducted 1 mark. Unanswered questions will receive 0 marks.

IISER Admit Card 2024

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research committee will release the IISER admit card on June 1, 2024. To get the hall ticket candidates need to enter the application number and password as mentioned on IISER admission form. IISER admit card contain the personal information, time, exam center address, exam guideline and instructions. Candidates are advised to read the guideline and instructions carefully and follow them during the exam time. An Admit card is mandatory for appearing in exams. IISER result 2024

IISER result will be released by the official authorities on the official website iiseradmission.in. Candidates need to enter their user ID and password to download the result. The IAT result consists of candidate personal details, secured marks and ranks secured by the candidate. Qualifying candidates are called for the counseling process.

IISER Answer Key 2024

The IISER Aptitude Test 2024 answer key will be released on the official website after a few days of exam by IISER. Candidates can compare their answers with the IISER exam answer key. IISER counselling 2024

IISER Exam counselling dates are announced by the IISER admission authorities on their official website. Candidates who qualify the aptitude Test are eligible for the counselling process.
