AMU Controller Exam 2025 (AMU CET) is a national level entrance exam conducted by Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) for admissions into undergraduate and postgraduate level courses. This exam provides admission to courses of medicine, law, management and engineering courses. Aligarh Muslim University is a public university based in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The university offers more than 300 courses in traditional and modern branches of education. It has main 3 branches:

AMU CET (AMU Controller Exam 2025) entrance exam is held in the month of May from 15 -31. The exam is held offline in various cities across the country.

The marking scheme is +1 for every correct answer. 0.25 negative marking for every incorrect answer.

AMU CET Exam Eligibility 2025

For B.Sc.:55% in Class 12 from a recognized board. Age not more than 24
For B.Tech.:50% in Class 12 from a recognised board or equivalent. Age not more than 24.
For B.A.LLB.: 50% in Class 12 from a recognised board or equivalent. Age not more than 24.
For B.A.: 50% in Class 12 from a recognised board or from school certificate from AMU. Age not more than 24
For B.Com.:55% in Class 12 from a recognised board or secretarial exam from AMU. Age not more than 24.

AMU CET Exam Syllabus 2025

The syllabus varies from course to course, but the questions will be of the high school level. The concepts will also include the curriculum suggested by NCERT and other competitive exams.

AMU CET Exam Result 2025

The result will be released in the month of June 2025 on the given website. Candidates have to download the result. The scores of the result is valid for that particular academic year only. The results are released in the form of a list. The list contains the candidates who are selected for the next interview round/GD/Counselling round. The results of different exams are released on different dates.

AMU CET Exam Merit List 2025

AMU CET merit list is released after result declaration on the university website. The list consists of all the names of candidates who have been able to score above the declared cut off and are eligible for further counselling rounds. In case two candidates score the same marks then the rank is decided on the following criteria:

The one with greater age is given a higher rank
Female candidates are ranked above as compared to male candidates
Students from AMU are ranked higher than other students
Positive mark to negative mark ratios
Marks in individual section

AMU CET Exam Counselling 2025

AMU COntroller Exam counselling is held in online mode on the website. Different courses counseling is held on different dates. Counselling includes registration, choice filling and release of results. Once a candidate has been provided a provisional admission, then he/she has to pay the admission fees and report to the university office and verify the following documents:

Class 10 and 12 marksheets
10 colour photos
Migration certificate
Category certificate (if applicable).
Four self -addressed envelopes with post stamps of Rs.22 each.
Two oath commissioner affidavits
Admission fees receipt.

In case a candidate doesn't acquire a seat in the first round of counselling ,then he/she can apply for further rounds which will be held in offline mode
