BVSc & AH full form is Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry. BVSc Animal husbandry is a branch of Veterinary medical science. It discusses the treatment of birds and animal diseases. It is the process of providing animal care. It deals with the diagnosis, treatment and curing of bird and animal diseases. BVSc is an undergraduate program and the study covers the physiology of birds and animals.

BVSc. AH Eligibility

The eligibility criteria are not much more complex. Candidates must have to fulfil the basic criteria to enrol in the course. They need to pass the 12th grade board examination to pursue a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.). Generally, the students need to have core science subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology. In addition to this, they must have compulsory subject English as a primary or secondary language.

• To enroll in a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry program candidate should have a minimum of 50% marks in 12th standard. The candidates from the reserved category have some relaxation. They must have to secure 47.5% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination.
• During the time of admission, the candidate must be 17 years old. However, the maximum age limit for admission varies by institute. Normally, 25 years of age is the upper limit and students are not allowed to take admission after that.

BVSc. AH Entrance Exam

Candidates should appear for the NEET (UG) examination. The admission process is based on merit and ranking in the NEET examination. NEET is conducted every year by the NTA (National Testing Agency). The test is based on multiple-choice questions from the domain of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology. It is a pen and paper-based examination and candidates will be provided OMR sheets to specify the answers. Students appearing for the NEET exam have to answer 180 questions out of 200 questions. Some universities used to conduct separate entrance examinations for enrolling students for the course of BVSc & AH such as RPVT (Rajasthan Pre Veterinary Test) or All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT) but all are combined with one single entrance exam NEET now. Candidates need to do regular preparation, checking the exam syllabus and entrance exam to be successful in future.

BVSc. AH Syllabus

The BVSc & AH syllabus is designed to give an in-depth understanding of veterinary science. The entire syllabus is divided into ten semesters. It focuses on practical training besides the theoretical knowledge. Practical training provides hands-on experience. The core subjects explore logical and scientific thoughts. The Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V. Sc. & A.H.)has a total of five and half years period. Each year is divided into two semesters. So Candidates have to complete a total of nine semesters. The course includes a compulsory internship program at the end of the final year. The internship period is twelve months of mandatory tenure.This undergraduate program is compulsorily designed to have core subjects with practical training for enhancing the skills in connection with real-world examples.
